We embarked on this journey to address a specific problem in the laundry detergent market. There were highly effective detergents containing harmful chemicals, like Tide, and there were all-natural, plant-based detergents that were not as effective, like Seventh Generation. We belived there was a market for a highly effective detergent that used only chemicals proven to be safe.
We wanted it for our families and we believed that if we could achieve this, many others would want it too.
After a thorough research into the chemicals used and their harmful effects, we collaborated with numerous chemists and manufacturers, and finally succeeded in bringing our dream to life in 2022. We launched Spring Detergent in 2022 August, and within two years, we had sold many hundreds of bottles. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who supported us, encouraged us, and enjoyed using Spring Detergent. We are incredibly proud of our accomplishments and confident that we have demonstrated the market potential for this type of product, which paved the way for the many products that have since been introduced.
As the market now offers a variety of products that address the initial problem we set out to solve, we believe it’s time for us to move on and find new challenges to tackle. We want to express our gratitude for joining us on this journey. Until next time!

How it began
We are two families just like yours, concerned about the amount of harmful chemicals we are introduced to and the effects ranging from infertility to cancer to environmental damage caused by ingredients like parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, phosphates and PFAS, present in most detergents in the market today.
Considering how often we wash our clothes - especially the clothing of our children - the effects of these harmful ingredients are multiplied over the years.
This concern lead us to starting Spring Detergent, a balanced solution to this problem. A safe alternative that does not compromise the quality of the wash while being economical.
